Vignet

Privacy

The Windows app is deliberately local. The website uses limited information for checkout, delivery, support and campaign attribution.

Inside the app

Vignet stores its display settings on your computer. It has no account, advertising, usage analytics or telemetry.

On this website

Stripe processes checkout, payment details, tax information and receipts. Vignet does not receive your full card number.

The checkout records the landing page and standard campaign parameters, such as UTM source and creative, so purchases can be attributed. A Reddit click ID is recorded and may be returned to Reddit when the visit came from a Reddit ad.

Delivery and support

Your checkout email is used to deliver the download and answer support or refund requests. It is not added to a marketing list.

Sensitive information

Vignet does not ask for or intentionally collect diagnoses, health information or sensory profiles. Do not include sensitive information in a support email unless it is necessary for your request.

Who handles it and for how long

The seller identified in Stripe checkout and on your receipt is the data controller. Stripe handles payment and tax records; Resend handles delivery email when configured; Reddit receives conversion data only for attributed ad visits. Each provider may retain records under its own legal obligations and published terms.

Support messages are kept while they are needed to answer the request and maintain an accurate purchase or refund record. Campaign parameters are kept with the Stripe transaction. Required accounting and payment records are retained for the period required by law.

Your choices

You can ask for access, correction or deletion of data controlled by Vignet by emailing hello@vignet.site. Payment and accounting records may need to be retained where the law requires it. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
